When we talk about TV’s popular show Kaun Banega Crorepati, the first thing that comes to our mind is megastar Amitabh Bachchan’s opening line ‘Deviyon aur Sajjano’. While the audience is super excited about the show’s comeback, it looks like the makers have not yet finalised the host of the show. It is being said that Amitabh Bachchan’s contract with the show is over and the makers are now looking for someone who can match his stature.
The show started in the year 2000, with Amitabh Bachchan as its host and gained immense popularity. In the year 2007, Big B was replaced by superstar Shah Rukh Khan, only to return back in 2008. The last season of KBC aired in 2014 and now when the show is making a comeback, the makers are having a tough time deciding upon the host of the show.
Recently, actor Ranbir Kapoor’s name came up as the show’s host, but it looks like the makers have some other plans in mind. If rumours are to be believed, the makers are planning to have a female host this time and the two names which have been finalised are that of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Madhuri Dixit Nene. Yes, you heard that right.
While Madhuri has previously judged many reality shows and has a connect with the audience, Aishwarya is a global icon and has a huge fan following. And if Aish agrees to step into the shoes of her father-in-law, it is going to be a great deal not only for the audience but for the makers as well. Also, it will mark the TV debut of the actress.
Well, it will be interesting to see who will finally host the show, Madhuri or Aishwarya.
