AIB's Rohan Joshi explains why Sunil Grover is not joining the team

After making an open offer to Sunil Grover, comedy channel All India Bakchod (AIB) refuted claims of having approached him

The ongoing feud between Sunil Grover and Kapil Sharma is witnessing new twists and turns with each passing day. Speculations are rife that the former will quit the show when his contract ends this April.

On Tuesday, Ashish Shakya and Rohan Joshi, members of popular online comedy channel All India Bakchod (AIB), gave an invitation to Grover for joining their team on their show. Their offer spread like a wildfire and the whole world began talking about it. However, Joshi has now refuted claims of having approached Grover and said it was merely a joke.

“No, it was just a joke at the end of the show On Air With AIB. Nobody has asked Sunil Grover to be a part of AIB. Everybody has taken it seriously and is so funny to us,” Joshi told Hindustan Times.

In the recent episode of On Air With AIB, Ashish Shakya and Rohan Joshi signed off by saying,”Sunil Grover, if you are watching this funny comedy show in which koi bhi mard salwar pehen ke nahi aata toh please phone karo humko. We promise you hum flight me bas pillow phenkte hain, chappal nahi phenkte.”

Sunil Grover and Kapil Sharma are in midst of a controversy over an alleged brawl that occurred between them on board a flight from Melbourne to Mumbai. It is said that a drunk Kapil slapped and abused Grover during the ugly fight. The latter who portrays Dr Mashoor Gulati and Rinku Bhabhi on The Kapil Sharma Show, was absent from both the episodes this weekend.
