Not many would argue that Ajith Kumar is a superstar of Tamil cinema. His highly awaited film Vivegam has finally hit the screens and fans seem to be jumping over the moon. Produced by Sathya Jyoti and directed by Siva, the spy thriller has all the elements to become a blockbuster. In this film, Ajith has been paired opposite Kajal Aggarwal and also features Vivek Oberoi in the role of Aryan Singha. The trailer of the film hinted that it was an out and out action movie with high octane sequences.
The early audience reviews seem to shower unanimous praise. The viewers have hailed their beloved Thala for the visual treat. Laden with high-octane action scenes, Vivegam revolves around Ajith’s quest to stop an illegal transaction and hunt the people involved in it.
Ajith’s presence in the film was enough to attract huge footfalls to the theatres. The star has no less charm than a demigod as his fan base spans millions. Despite the fact that Ajith doesn’t attend many award functions and his public appearances have been minimal, the love his fans shower on him hasn’t changed. Their allegiance towards 46-year-old is so strong that many of them changed their user name on Twitter to add 24 August in it- the date of Vivegam’s release.

Naturally, the hysteria around Vivegam would translate to Box Office numbers. It is left to be seen if this film manages to beat the record of the biggest Tamil movie of this year – Baahubali 2, or not.
