One of the most awaited film, Tamil film 2.0 is making news ever since the cast and technical crew were announced. Directed by Shankar, with music by AR Rahman, Rajinikanth returning to his Robot avatar, Akshay Kumar making his Tamil debut with the gorgeous Amy Jackson as the leading lady, the movie clearly has all the right ingredients to be touted as the biggest release of the decade. Produced by Subaskaran Allirajah, chairman and founder of Lyca Mobile/Productions, 2.0 is also the most expensive Indian film ever as the makers have confirmed that it will be a Rs 450 crore project.
Earlier there were reports that Shankar had filmed an action sequence featuring Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar in a Rs 20 crore set.
And now, according to the latest Tamil media reports, Shankar will direct yet another fight scene featuring the main antagonist of the film, Akshay Kumar and the leading lady, Amy Jackson. Reportedly, the Singh Is Bliing duo’s fight scenes are scheduled to be shot on this coming week. The action scenes will be choreographed by renowned Hollywood action director Kenny Bates, who choreographed actions in films like Die Hard, Pearl Harbor, and Transformers.
The music of 2.0 has been composed by AR Rahman. The film also stars Adil Hussain, Sudhanshu Pandey, and Malayalam actor Kalabhavan Shajon. 2.0 is going to be released on 2017 Diwali in three languages, Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi.
