Following his ugly spat with Kapil Sharma, Sunil Grover recently quit The Kapil Sharma Show. Popular for essaying the characters of  Dr Mashoor Gulati and Rinku Bhabhi, he left his fans disappointed when he decided to leave the show. Now, fans who are eagerly waiting to watch him in the role of Mashoor Gulati has a reason to rejoice, as he is all set to entertain the audience with his avatar.

But interestingly he is not making his comeback with Kapil Sharma’s show but the comedian will be seen promoting Salman Khan’s Tubelight in a special episode.  He will be seen essaying the role of famous Dr Mashoor Gulati on the same channel airing Kapil’s show The Kapil Sharma Show. Titled as Supernight With Tubelight, Sunil will be accompanied by other comedians including Ali Asgar, Chandan Prabhakar, Sugandha Mishra and Sanket Bhosale.

It will be a special episode hosted by Aparashakti Khurrana to promote the Kabir Khan directorial.

Sunil made headlines for his in-flight controversy while traveling from Melbourne to Mumbai in February this year. It was reported that Kapil Sharma in an inebriated state had verbally and physically abused Grover. Following which, Kapil posted an apology letter on his Twitter page.  It was reported that both Sunil and Kapil have decided to sort out their issues and work together. Some even suggested that he was bound by a contract and hence, would have to be a part of the show.

Talking about Tubelight, the film will see Salman Khan and Sohail Khan in the main lead. Apart from them, the film also marks the Bollywood debut of Chinese actress and singer Zhu Zhu. Tubelight marks the third collaboration of Kabir Khan and Salman Khan. They have earlier worked in Ek Tha Tiger and  Bajrangi Bhaijaan.
