The fans of Sunil Grover who are missing him, here’s some good news. The comedian who plays Dr Mashoor Gulati and Rinku Bhabhi on The Kapil Sharma Show, is back. But wait. He is not returning on the show hosted by Kapil Sharma. But he will be in Delhi on April 1 along with fellow comedian Kiku Sharda.
Sunil’s contract with the channel airing TKSS expires on April 23. As a result, his upcoming show raises speculation whether he will make a comeback on the show or not. Also, Kiku Sharda has not snapped his ties with Kapil and appears on the show as Bumper. The other co-actors Ali Asgar and Chandan Prabhakar have already walked out of the show.
Meanwhile, the trio’s absence has severely affected the show. Saturday and Sunday’s episode turned out to be a flop show as Kapil struggled to shoulder the entire show on his own. His difficult days are far from over as it has been revealed that the channel is not keen on renewing the contract, meaning that the popular show might go off air.
For those who don’t know, Kapil Sharma and Sunil Grover fell apart after an ugly brawl on board a flight from Melbourne to Mumbai. It is alleged that Sharma in an inebriated state misbehaved with Chandan Prabhakar and later slapped Sunil Grover. However, the comedian took to social media to apologise to Grover, but the latter advised him to stop behaving like a God. It is yet to be seen whether things turnaround for Kapil Sharma or not.
