Riteish Deshmukh's 'chori ka poster' strategy to promote Bank Chor is both funny and innovative

Riteish Deshmukh has launched a series of funny posters on social media. The posters are of popular films which he has modified to promote Bank Chor

Riteish Deshmukh and the team of his upcoming film, Bank Chor has found out a new promotional strategy for their film. The actor took to his Twitter to post modified versions of the posters of a few Hindi films. There can’t be any pattern seen in the selection of the poster. Riteish made his face and the faces of the cast members of his film superimposed on some of the popular film posters. Begum Jaan, Dangal, Tubelight, Life Of Pi are a few names that the actor has tried to hamper with.

What is interesting is how he has captioned the images. While putting the Dangal poster out, he wrote: “After #Dangal’s stupendous success in China – Next film to release there is #BankChor – This is our poster for the China release.” However, while using the Tubelight poster, he posted: “Ab Ja #TubeLight Jali hai….. Hum Aa Rahein Hain … EID…… Ke Ek Hafte Pehle.

Bank Chor, which is slated to hit the screens on June 16 is a suspense comedy, features Vivek Oberoi, Rhea Chakraborty and Sahil Vaid apart from Riteish Deshmukh. The trailer of the film was released recently and got mixed views. While the comedy in the trailer seems super forced, the performances of both Riteish and Vivek look interesting.
