There is no doubt that the songs of Anushka Sharma’s upcoming film Phillauri are chartbusters and we are totally in love with all of them. The latest addition to the list is the reprised version of the film’s first Sufi song Dum Dum, which is sung by none other than the hero of the Phillauri Diljit Dosanjh.

The song was shared by Anushka Sharma on her Twitter account on Saturday and the song is a soothing melody to ears. The video features Diljit and also have a glimpse of Anushka and his love story from the film. The lyrics of Dum Dum are by Anvita Dutt and is written very beautifully.

This reprised version is not much different from the original track, but if you are a Diljit Dosanjh fan then this song will make you fall in love with him even more. And it won’t be wrong to say that Diljit’s voice has surely made Dum Dum even more beautiful and one can listen to it on repeat.

Directed by Anshai Lal, Phillauri is Anushka Sharma’s second production ventures after NH10. The film is a love story and brings two different lifetimes together. This is for the first time that Anushka will play a ghost named Shashi on-screen.

After releasing the trailer and songs of the film, the makers have now come out with another video series which will give us a glimpse of the characters and the storyline. The first one is titled Chapter 1 – The Bride… In Spirit, which is a tell-all tale of Shashi’s life and her journey.

In fact, Anushka and Diljit’s chemistry in the film is being highly appreciated by the audience and is winning hearts everywhere. With Anushka playing the ghost in Phillauri, the makers have come out with many interesting and creative ways to promote the film.

The film is scheduled to release on March 24 this year.
