Mouni Roy is making her Bollywood debut with Akshay Kumar’s Gold. The actress has a huge fan following and those who were eagerly waiting for the actress’ first look has now a reason to rejoice. A picture of Mouni along with Akshay Kumar is doing rounds on the internet in which she can be seen in looking beautiful. Draped in a black and red printed saree, the actress looks stunning, while Akshay can be seen donning a kurta and dhoti. After checking out the picture and their looks, it seems the duo will be going to essay Bengali characters, however, nothing has been confirmed yet.
We have earlier revealed about Mouni Roy’s character in the upcoming film. A source close to a leading daily quoted as saying: “Mouni will be seen in a completely different avatar to suit the era. She will film for 20-25 days in August and is one of the few female characters in the otherwise male-dominated narrative. She will be shooting extensively with Akshay.”
And what looks like from the latest image of Mouni, it seems she is all set to surprise her audience with her Indian avatar. Known for her popular television show Naagin, this is the first time she will be seen sharing the screen space with Khiladi Kumar.

Directed by Reema Kagti, Gold will see Akshay essaying the role of Balbir Singh, a Hockey player from India.
Meanwhile, Mouni Roy is also grabbing headlines for her another Bollywood project with Salman Khan’s brother-in-law Aayush Sharma in Raat Baaki. However, the official announcement has not been made yet. This is Akshay’s first official look from GOLD.
