Kapil Sharma to take a break, TV show to go off air? Here’s what we know

A source said that Kapil Sharma may get back with a revamped version of The Kapil Sharma Show

After the in-flight fight with Sunil Grover, Kapil Sharma has been struggling to keep The Kapil Sharma Show‘s TRP high. The ratings of the comedian’s show begun to dip after Sunil Grover, Ali Asgar and others left the show as a consequence of the fight. The latest buzz surrounding the show hints that TKSS is going off air.

According to the reports published by a leading daily, a source said, Kapil may get back with a revamped version of TKSS. The source quoted “The current format has run its course. Sunil Grover and Ali Asgar’s departure and Bharti Singh and Chandan Prabhakar’s entry are not the issue. We’ve realised that the entire show needs a revamp.”

Meanwhile, Kapil’s girlfriend Ginni Chattrath is missing Sunil Grover on the show too. Ginni took to micro-blogging site Twitter and posted a series of emotional tweets, wanting Sunil aka Dr Mashoor Gulati to return to TKSS.

In an ugly fight between Sunil and Kapil, that took place on a flight while returning from Melbourne, did a huge damage to the friendship as well as to the show. However, Kapil later wrote a Facebook post to apologised to Sunil, but the latter was in no mood to return to the show.
