Katrina Kaif and Prabhas might be soon sharing screen space if media reports are anything to go by. Grapevine is abuzz that Katrina Kaif and Prabhas have been cast in the sci-fi thriller Saaho. The teaser of the movie was released with the blockbuster Baahubali: The Conclusion, and it will see Prabhas in a different avatar than his last movie.
It is reported that the makers were keen on signing a Bollywood diva for this role. They approached Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra, they are reported to have finalised Katrina Kaif.
After the immense success of Baahubali, Prabhas has become the most sought after actor in the Telugu film industry. Him romancing a Bollywood heroine would obviously add weight to his acting resume. Saaho is helmed by Sujeeth and is sci-fi thriller.
However, this report can not be completely trusted. It could turn out to be another rumour given the fact that Saaho’s teaser has been released.
As of now, Prabhas is basking in the success of his last release Baahubali 2. The film has taken the Box Office by storm with a collection of Rs 12000 crore worldwide. With this, the film has now become the first movie in the history of Indian cinema to reach such high. Directed by SS Rajamouli, the film is about two warring cousins and their battle for the ownership of an ancient kingdom. The film features Prabhas, Anushka Shetty, Rana Daggubati, Tamannaah Bhatia, Ramya Krishnan and Sathyaraj in pivotal roles.

On the work front, Katrina is busy shooting with Salman Khan for her next Tiger Zinda Hai. The film is a sequel to Kabir Khan directorial Ek Tha Tiger. This is not the first time Katrina is sharing the screen space with Salman, previously they worked together in films like Partner and Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya? among others.
