Watch: Trailer of Salman Khan, Javed Akhtar's 'Hanuman Da Damdaar' will take you back to your childhood days

After releasing the motion poster of the film, the makers have now unveiled the trailer of Salman Khan' Hanuman Da Damdaar

Salman Khan, who has lent his voice to the character of Lord Hanuman in the forthcoming animated film Hanuman Da Damdaar, recently released the motion poster of the film on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti. And after releasing the superb poster, the makers have now unveiled the trailer of the film. This time, not Salman but actress Sonam Kapoor shared the link to the trailer on her Twitter page, captioning it: India’s favourite Superhero is back. Ruchi Narain’s #HanumanDaDamdaar. 

Written and directed by Ruchi Narain, the film is made under R.A.T. film productions. Narain is a renowned face. She has won several awards for her works including Filmfare award for penning Hazaaron Khwahishein Aisi. Ruchi also made KAL (Yesterday & Tomorrow) which won the Osian’s Cinefan Critic’s Choice Award.

Going by the trailer, we must say that it will take you back to your childhood days. The film is all about young Hanuman’s journey into becoming who he was meant to be, but at first he will be shown as any other kid which will make the kids relate a lot with him. The trailer also gives the audience a chance to catch Salman Khan’s Dabangg twist. If you are a big Salman fans, then you will be surprised to hear Hanuman saying, “Ek baar joh maine commitment karli toh main phir apne aap ki bhi nahi sunta.”

Apart from Salman other actors who have lent their voice to other characters in the film include Javed Akhtar, Makarand Deshpande, Raveena Tandon, Kunal Kemmu and Vinay Pathak. While veteran writer-lyricist Javed Akhtar has given the voice-over to animated character Valmiki, Raveena Tandon lent her voice to the character of lord Hanuman’s mother.

Meanwhile,  actor Vinay Pathak has also lent his voice for the animated character Popat Sharma in Hanuman Da Damdaar. The film is all set to release on May 19.
