Watch: This trailer of Abbas-Mustan's Machine indicates the film is a cliched Bollywood love story

The trailer of Abbas-Mustan's upcoming movie Machine has been released. It marks Abbas' son Mustafa's cinematic debut

Abbas-Mustan, the director duo credited with superhits like Baazigar, Race and Race 2, has come up with a new venture Machine. The film is significant because it marks the debut of Abbas Burmawalla’s son Mustafa. The makers of the film released the trailer which looks decently good enough.

As far as the trailer suggests, it seems that the directors have relied on their expertise in churning out thrillers. Mustafa plays Ransh, a racing enthusiast and is paired alongside Kiara Advani. There are some thrilling car chase sequences in the film which might leave you hooked to the seats. However, the film is more like a love story with some action.

However, the music of the film is a big letdown. We have heard that the song ‘Tu Cheez Badi Hai Mast’ Akshay Kumar-starrer Mohra will be included in the film. The new version will be sung by Udit Narayan, who had lent his voice in the original track too. However, the original female playback singer Kavita Krishnamurthy has been replaced by Neha Kakkar. In the trailer, we also saw the remixed version of yesteryear hit Ek Chatur Naar as well. Now, it is clear that the makers are content with remixing old tracks instead of thinking some out-of-the-box music.

The film also features Dalip Tahil, Sharat Saxena and Johnny Lever in pivotal roles. The film is scheduled to hit the theatres on 17 March. The last film directed by the duo was Kapil Sharma-starrer Kis Kisko Pyar Karun which hit the theatres two years ago.
