Watch: Ek Jindari from Irrfan Khan's Hindi Medium takes you back to those good ol' school days

Irrfan Khan starrer Hindi Medium is making all the right noises since its trailer released and the new song from the movie adds to the buzz

The new song of Irrfan Khan and Saba Qamar starrer Ek Jindari is out and it is all about the innocence of kids. Crooned by  Taniskaa Sanghvi, the song will take you down a nostalgic trip. In less than three minutes, the song manages to bring back to life all the memories that are forgotten. Remember the time when you got excited about a new session or getting new stationaries? Well, this song is a sweet reminder of just that. The song is made more melodious with the music of Sachin-Jigar.

Another highlight of the song is the dilemma of Irrfan Khan and Saba Qamar. As parents, they wish to get their daughter admitted in one of the elite schools which they think will make them a part of the so-called ‘creme layer’ of the society. But somewhere down the two keep missing their old days. Somehow they feel their past had more sweetness than their present.

This song is hence a gentle reminder that rushing towards things might not be the best thing to do always.
