Salman Khan's Tubelight trailer will be unveiled today. Here's the time and other details of the launch

The trailer of Salman Khan’s upcoming film Tubelight will be unveiled today. It is a moment which the millions of his fans have been waiting for a long time. Directed by Kabir Khan, the 1962 Indo-China war drama features Salman Khan, Sohail Khan, Zhu Zhu and others.

The trailer of the film will be unveiled at 8.59 pm on prominent channels of Star TV network. The announcement was made by Salman himself early in the morning on social media. “Kar lo yakeen, #TubelightTrailer will be here tonight at 8:59 PM . @starindia @skfilmsofficial @kabirkhankk @amarbutala @TubelightKiEid,” the 51-year-old actor tweeted.

Prior to the trailer, the makers unveiled the teaser on May 4 that had Salman fans swooning over it. The 2-minute long promo has raked in more than 21 million views on YouTube so far. With just a month to go before the film hits the theatres, it seems that the makers won’t release more trailers of the film. This speculation might be attributed to an interview that director Kabir Khan gave to DNA. He said that while other films begin promotions months before the release. But Khan said that he believed that as long as the message is effectively conveyed to the audience, its more than enough. Meanwhile, check out Salman’s tweet that he posted early in the morning.

Produced by Salman Khan and his mother Salma Khan, Tubelight is said to be inspired by Hollywood film Little Boy. Set in northern India, it chronicles the story of a boy named Laxman (Salman) who begins the search for his brother (Sohail), a soldier who goes missing during the war.
