Trump's Bollywood connection gets stronger: Celebs expected to perform at swearing in ceremony

Donald Trump's swearing in ceremony on January 20 is expected to be attended by Bollywood celebrities who will also perform at the grand event

The swearing in of President elect Donald Trump on 20 January will be attended by many Bollywood celebrities, confirmed Manasvi Mamgai. A former Miss India, Mansavi is also a Republican Hindu Coalition India Ambassador and a staunch supporter of the Republican candidate.

Mansavi while in conversation with ANI, revealed the grand event will have a Bollywood touch with many celebrities shaking legs.

A confident Mansavi said Donald Trump would be the best US President for India.

Trump’s committee has released an initial list of groups who have agreed to be part of the event. The swearing in ceremony is expected to be attended by over 8,000 participants from 40 organisations. He will take the oath at the West Front Terrace of the U.S. Capitol.

Before Trump was elected as the President, renowned Bollywood celebrities including Malaika Arora Khan and Prabhu Deva performed at a charity event hosted by Republican Hindu Coalition for Kashmiri refugees. Their performances got the audience to their feet and at the event, Trump spoke about his affection towards Bollywood and India.

However, before the event took place there were many who bashed Bollywood celebs for agreeing to perform at an event that had Trump as the chief guest. These were the ones who didn’t agree with Trump’s views on many matters.

Despite a huge criticism from many parts of the world, Trump won the President elections to be the 45th President of the United States by defeating Hillary Clinton.
