It seems like Box Office clashes are the new trends in Bollywood film industry. After Sonakshi Sinha and Raveena Tandon’s films, now Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon will lock horns at the ticket windows. Tiger’s Munna Michael and Kriti Sanon’s Bareilly Ki Barfi will hit the screens on July 21. Tiger Shroff, who was last seen in 2016 released A Flying Jatt is busy shooting for his next Munna Michael. Directed by Sabbir Khan, the dance-based musical also stars Nidhhi Agerwal as his love interest. The film was earlier scheduled to release on July 7, 2017. The film also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the role of an antagonist.
On the other hand, Kriti Sanon is all set to rock the silver screen with her Bollywood outing Bareilly Ki Barfi. The Dilwale actress has two releases this year Sushant Singh Rajput starrer Raabta and then Bareilly Ki Barfi. Directed by Nil Battey Sannata, fame director Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari, Bareilly Ki Barfi is a romantic comedy drama rooted in the subculture of the north Indian city Bareilly. It also has Ayushmann Khurana and Rajkummar Rao.
So, as both the films are set to clash in July, it is quite difficult to tell which one of these two will rule the Box Office. Tiger Shroff’s film has been receiving a lot of attention as both the actor and director are reunited after their hit film Heropanti. So, it will be interesting to watch who will win the box office battle.
Meanwhile, Sonakshi Sinha’s Noor and Raveena Tandon starrer Maatr are all set to release this Friday. Directed by Sunhil Sippy, Noor features her in the role of a journalist. It also has stars like Purab Kohli and Kanan Gill in pivotal roles.
