Salman Khan is gearing up for the release of his next Tubelight. The actor is on a promotional spree for his film. Now the recent buzz is Sanjay Leela Bhansali, who earlier worked with Salman in films like Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam and Saawariya has approached Salman for a film. Present at an event to promote his upcoming flick, Salman spilled the beans about collaborating with Bhansali after so long.
Asking about the rumours if he signed any film with Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Salman jokingly said, “I will be doing a film with SLB. Oh, no! muh se nikal gaya, (Amar) Butalaji (the Chief Operating Officer, Salman Khan films, and co-producer), it just slipped out.”
Further talking about his project with Sanjay, Salman added: “We’ve been discussing a script. If it does happen, it’ll happen only after I finish all the films that I’ve taken up.”
Reportedly, Sanjay, who recently directed Bajirao Mastani wanted to direct Salman in his film. It is also being said that Salman and Sanjay had a fallout when the filmmaker chose to cast Shah Rukh Khan in his 2002 released Devdas. There were rumors that all is not well between the two. However, Sanjay puts all the speculation at rest by visiting Salman at his home last year.
Apart from Tubelight, Salman also has Ali Abbas Zafar directorial Tiger Zinda Hai. He is currently shooting for the film. The Yash Raj Films project is a sequel to the 2012 blockbuster film Ek Tha Tiger. Tiger Zinda Hai will also mark the comeback of Salman and Katrina on the silver screen after a long time.
This is not the first time Salman and Katrina will be seen together. The two have previously worked in films like Ek Tha Tiger, Yuvvraj, Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya? and Partner.
