Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who is all set to surprise everyone with his yet another avatar in Manto, thanked Rishi Kapoor for sharing screen space with him. Apart from Nawazuddin, the film will also see the veteran actor in a special appearance. It is yet to be revealed what role Rishi has played in the film. Om Puri was supposed to play a character in the film, but he passed away earlier this year. Rishi was last seen, in 2016 released Kapoor & Sons. For the film, he also received a Filmfare Awards in the category of best-supporting actor.

Nawazuddin himself broke the news on the social media platform, Twitter. However, he didn’t let out anything about the film. He wrote: “It was indeed a pleasure sharing the screen with @chintskap Sir, what an amazing energy you possess even now”, he tweeted on Wednesday.

Responding to his tweet, Rishi wrote: “Thank you, Nawaz! Did that bit for Nandita Das and ‘Manto’ — title role played by you. We will have fun working together in the future.”
