GQ Awards 2017 was a star-studded affair. Bollywood celebs like Ranveer Singh, Anushka Sharma, Aamir Khan, Karan Johar, Irrfan Khan, Sidharth Malhotra, Jacqueline Fernandez, Rajkummar Rao, Patralekha, Kalki Koechlin, Esha Gupta and other added all the glitz and glamour in the event. And guess what, apart from all the shine at GQ Men Of The Year Awards the highlight was exes, Ranveer and Anushka facing each other. The paparazzi could hold them from capturing the moment. Both the stars seemed comfortable and greeted each other with smiles. It was rumoured that they were dating a few years back.
We all know Ranveer is quite funny, witty, and somebody who doesn’t seem to be holding back anything. Rather, believes in speaking and expressing. And that’s what he did when he bumped into Anushka when she was addressing media at the award ceremony. In a video shared by a fan club on their Instagram account, both the star greeted each other maturely with all smile on their face. In the video, Ranveer can be heard saying “Pari ki shooting kesi chal rhi hai? Pari ke avatar mein really tu bahot sahi lagti hai.” His statement was full of humour and wit. Anushka also responded him with a smile saying “Aap to har avatar mein sahi lagte hai. Yeh kaun sa avatar hai.”

Ranveer and Anushka, both the actors, have moved on in their life. Ranveer is currently dating Bollywood diva Deepika Padukone. The two just make a great looking couple. None of them has announced their relationship officially. They share a fantastic chemistry and have such a comforting body language around each other. While Anushka is allegedly in a relationship with the skipper of the Indian cricket team Virat Kohli. Both haven’t accepted their relationship officially. But can be seen making public appearances and vacationing together.
On the work front, Ranveer, who bagged GQ Entertainer of the Year Award, is gearing up for his next release Padmavati. The film also stars Shahid Kapoor and Deepika in lead roles. This Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial is slated to release on December 1. While Anuska is busy with Pari and other projects in her kitty.

While speaking to a leading daily Ranveer had one quoted “I remember being very excited when Zoya told me that she was considering Anushka for that part. I was mostly convinced that she would decline it. And I told her, ‘Well, all the best.’ It was just a feeling I had. And then Zoya told me that she was on. And I was so excited that I would get to work with her again. I know that I have a great give-and-take with Anushka. That our energies, when they come together on screen, make for a great watch. I think she has the coolest part in Dil Dhadakne Do and I am glad that she had the foresight to recognise that and her security as an actor to take up a part like that.”
