Kangana Ranaut is all set for her upcoming next Manikarnika. Fans are eagerly waiting to watch her essay the role of Rani Laxmibai.

After a long wait, the first look of Kangana from the film is out and we must say she looks drop-dead stunning as Laxmibai. This is the first-hand experience for her to essay such larger than life character on-screen. It is being said that for getting into the skin of the character of Rani Laxmibai, Kangana has undergone a huge transformation.

Unlike other films’ first look, this particular picture of Kangana is a sketch of her character Rani Laxmibai from the upcoming film.

Manikarnika is the much talked about project of the three-time National Award winning actor. As the first look from the film is out, it will be interesting to watch how her fans are going to react. Going by the picture in which Kangana dons a turban, and traditional accessories, we must say she has completely nailed the look as Laxmibai.

Recently, we had also got to see a video of her, in which Kangana was seen horseriding. Going by the look it seems like, the audience will get to see a totally different avatar of hers in the upcoming historical drama.

The film is being directed by Radha Krishna Jagarlamudi and is written by KV Vijayendra Prasad. He also wrote the screenplay for SS Rajamouli directorial Baahubali: The Beginning and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion.

Recently, Kangana was last seen in Vishal Bhardwaj’s Rangoon  which also starred Saif Ali Khan and Shahid Kapoor. As of now, she is busy with her next Simran. The film has been directed by acclaimed director Hansal Mehta. Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Simran is expected to release this year.
