Parineeti Chopra to make her singing debut with Meri Pyaari Bindu

Parineeti Chopra will don the singer's hat in her upcoming film Meri Pyaari Bindu, in which she shares screen space with Ayushmann Khurana

After her cousin Priyanka Chopra created ripples on the world stage with her singing debut, it’s the turn of her cousin Parineeti Chopra. The bubbly girl is all set to make her singing debut in upcoming film Meri Pyaari Bindu.

The actor has recorded the song Maana Ke Hum Yaar Nahi which has been composed by Sachin-Jigar. The music director duo has composed songs in films like Shuddh Desi Romance, Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and others.”SO EXCITED to share with you all – My singing debut is out tomorrow!!” the Kill Dil actor posted on Twitter.

Meri Pyaari Bindu is directed by Akshay Roy and features Parineeti opposite Ayushmann Khurana in lead roles. The Yash Raj Films venture is scheduled to hit the theatres on 12 May. Parineeti is not the sole B-town actor to lend her voice for a song. Recently, Anushka Sharma rapped for the number Naughty Billo in her latest home production venture Phillauri. On the other hand, Alia Bhatt, Shraddha Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha have sung as well.

Alia has crooned in her films Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, Highway and Udta Punjab. Shraddha has lent her voice for Ek Villain, Haider, Baaghi, Rock On 2, Ungli and ABCD 2. Sonakshi Sinha had unveiled her song Aaj Mood Ishqholic Hai in 2015.

It will be interesting to see how Parineeti fares in her stint as a playback singer. She is currently filming for Golmaal Again alongside Ajay Devgn, Arshad Warsi, Tushar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade and Tabu. The Rohit Shetty directorial is scheduled to hit the theatres this November.
