OK Jaanu Box Office collection: Shraddha-Aditya's film hit by cricket match on day 3

OK Jaanu is struggling really hard at the box office and yesterday's collection was affected due to first one-day international match between India-England

Shraddha Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur’s OK Jaanu didn’t show much growth at the box office on the day 3 of its release. While the movie is getting mixed reviews from audience and the film critics, it is still not able to perform that well when it comes to the numbers.

OK Jaanu did a business of Rs 4.08 crore on Friday, Rs 4.90 crore on Saturday and Rs 4.82 crore on Sunday, making a total of Rs 13.80 crore. The movie is struggling really hard at the box office and yesterday’s collection was affected due to the first one-day international cricket match between India and England in Pune, which the hosts won by 5 wickets.

Directed by Shaad Ali, Ok Jaanu is a Hindi remake of Mani Ratnam’s Tamil blockbuster O Kadhal Kanmani and deals with the subject of live-in relationships. Shraddha Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur’s chemistry is simply amazing and you will be taken back to their Aashiqui days. Written by Gulzar and music by AR Rahman, songs are the USP of this film.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter on Sunday and wrote:

With Aamir Khan’s Dangal ruling the box office like a boss even on the day 24 of its release, we really don’t think any other movie can ever surpass even one of its record.

And being in competition with Deepika Padukone’s xXx: Return of Xander Cage and Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s Haraamkhor, it will be interesting to see how OK Jaanu will perform in the coming weeks.
