Nope, this leaked photo of Amitabh Bachchan is not from Thugs of Hindostan

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan on Friday clarified that his leaked pictures on social media are not from his upcoming film Thugs of Hindostan

Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan is all set to work with Aamir Khan. Titled  Thugs of Hindostan, his upcoming film has already become the talk of the town due to its female lead. Though the male lead of the film Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan has been finalized, the leading lady of the film is yet to be announced. However, rumors have it that Shraddha Kapoor will be cast opposite Aamir. On Friday, social media was abuzz with some leaked images of Big B, in which he is seen donning an orange turban and beard. Once the picture went viral, it was believed that the latest image of the veteran may be from his upcoming film Thugs of Hindostan. 

However, Big B has finally put all the rumours at rest and confirmed that this look is not from his upcoming film. Clarifying the report, in response to a Twitter post on the image, Amitabh wrote: “No sir. This is from an ad I worked in today. Not Thugs.”

Meanwhile, Amitabh Bachchan got nostalgic while sharing the pictures on his twitter page. He wrote:

My Nani, Amar Kaur Sodhi .. and my Nana Khazan Singh Suri .. must be smiling from the heavens to see me thus .. in my Sikh roots !!

This is the first time both Aamir and Amitabh will be seen sharing the screen together.

Thugs of Hindostan, a period crime-drama based on the novel Confessions of a Thug by Philip Meadows Taylor, the film looks at the lives of imperial thugs who stole from travellers in India during the 1830s. The film is being directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, best known for the Dhoom franchise.
