The rumours were rife the Alia Bhatt and Siddharth Malhotra will be paired together for the first time in Aashiqui 3. The film, which is in news despite no official announcement from the makers, is the third installment of the popular Aashiqui franchise. However, speaking on the same, Alia’s father and filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt has denied the possibilities of the Dear Zindagi actress doing this film.
When Mr Bhatt was asked to comment on the news, he took a sly dig at it and said: “Rumours, rumours, rumours.”
According to the speculations, Sid and Alia had agreed to do Aashiqui 3 which is also been directed by Shashank Khaitan. The filmmaker has already directed Alia in Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and Badrinath Ki Dulhania.

Alia, who is currently basking in the success of his last, BKD, featuring Varun Dhawan opposite her has confirmed to be in Zoya Akhtar’s next titled Gully Boy. The film features Ranveer Singh opposite her. On the other hand, Sidharth Malhotra is currently busy with his next with Sonakshi Sinha, which is a remake of Rajesh Khanna’s Ittefaq.
