Shraddha Kapoor, who is all geared up for two of her most awaited releases this year, will next be seen playing the role of ace badminton player Saina Nehwal in her biopic. Yes, you heard that right, the actress will portray the role of Saina on-screen and we just can’t wait to see her in this avatar.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter on Wednesday and broke the news. Titled Saina, the film will be directed by Stanley Ka Dabba and Taare Zameen Par fame Amole Gupte and will be produced by Bhushan Kumar. While not many details have been revealed about the film, this news has already made Shraddha Kapoor fans curious about the biopic.
This is not the first time that Shraddha will portray the lead role in a biopic. Her upcoming film Haseena: The Queen Of Mumbai is also a biopic based on the life of Dawood Ibrahim’s sister Haseena Parkar, who was hailed as the ‘Godmother’ of the crime world.

From playing a college going Delhi girl in Mohit Suri’s Half Girlfriend to portraying a character like Haseena, Shraddha’s versatility as an actor is commendable. The actress experiments with her character a lot and her hard work know no limits when it comes to getting into the skin of the character she plays on-screen. Earlier, Shraddha has played a dancer in ABCD 2 and now she will be seen as a basketball player in Half Girlfriend and after that, the actress will portray the role of a badminton player in Saina.
