Is Akshay Kumar playing an alien in Rajinikanth's 2.0?

Akshay Kumar is not essaying the role of a crow in Rajinikanth starrer 2.0, the sequel to 2010 blockbuster Enthiran

Akshay Kumar will be sharing the screen space with Rajinikanth in Shankar’s 2.0 that will release on Januray 25 next year. The first look of the film has been unveiled long ago and he looks fearsome in his antagonist avatar. Much time is left before the trailer of the sci-fi flick is unveiled, but the actor’s look has become a talking point. Now, we have bumped into an interesting fact that will leave you surprised. Akshay’s look resembles that of a crow, hinting that he might have turned into a bird-like creature in the eventuality of an experiment going wrong.

Now, it is reported that the 49-year-old actor will be essaying the role of an alien. The film’s tagline reads “The world is not only for humans”, Bollywood Life reported. Besides the two superstars, 2.0 also features Amy Jackson. She shared the screen space with Akshay Kumar in Singh Is Bliing in 2015. Earlier, the sequel to 2010 blockbuster Enthiran was slated to hit the theatres in Diwali this year. But the makers postponed the release due to some reasons. The film’s audio launch will take place during Diwali and the trailer will be unveiled on December 12, which happens to be Rajinikanth’s birthday.

The makers of 2.0 are leaving no stone unturned to ensure that the buzz around the movie continues. A hot air balloon with images of Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar will float over the Hollywood signage in Los Angeles. The balloons will also be set off in London, Dubai, Australia and other Indian cities.

The Shankar directorial will mark Akshay’s debut in Tamil cinema. The entire film fraternity is looking up to 2.0 with immense expectations.
