After working with actresses like Priyanka Chopra and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, now filmmaker Omung Kumar is keen to cast Kareena Kapoor Khan in his next biopic. Reportedly, Bebo has been approached by the Marry Kom director for his next film. The latest buzz is Kareena Kapoor Khan has signed her very first biopic. The actress, who is busy preparing up for her next Veerey Di Wedding has not signed any film after she delivered her first son Taimur Ali Khan last year.
According to a leading daily, a source close to the director said: “Omung has wanted to work with Kareena for quite some time and he has finally found the right script for her. It’s a biopic and the actress and filmmaker will soon sit for a round of narrations. Then Bebo will take a call on the film”.
Known for directing films like Mary Kom and Sarbjit, Omung Kumar is expected to bring something new to his viewers. It is being reported that Omung Kumar’s upcoming film will definitely be a biopic, but of whom is yet to be announced. This is the first time for Kareena to work with Omung and that too for a biopic. So if she will join Omung Kumar for his next, it will be a treat for her fans to watch Bebo working for a biopic for the very first time.
On the work front, Kareena was last seen in Ki & Ka. The film follows a young, married couple contradicting the gender roles placed upon women and men in Indian society. Directed by R. Balki, Ki & Ka featured Arjun Kapoor opposite Kareena Kapoor Khan.

She will next be seen in Rhea Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor’s Veerey Di Wedding. The film also has Sonam Kapoor and Swara Bhaskar in pivotal roles. Veerey Di Wedding is directed by Shashanka Ghosh of Khoobsurat fame and also features Shikha Talsania.
