Govinda calls Karan Johar jealous and 'khatarnak'. But why is he so miffed?

That Govinda and Karan Johar don't share a rapport with each other is no secret. But, what made Chichi Bhaiya so peeved about KJo?

Recently, the trailer of Govinda’s upcoming film Aa Gaya Hero was released and it was highly praised by the industry people and his close friends including Salman Khan. It is Govinda’s comeback film as a solo hero after a long time and his hopes are really high with it.

The last time we saw him on the big screen was two years back in Kill Dill and the actor received a lot of positive feedback for his performance, though the film didn’t work well at the box office.

Now we hear that Govinda is really miffed with Karan Johar, as Varun Dhawan-Alia Bhatt starrer Badrinath Ki Dulhania is releasing a week after his film Aa Gaya Hero. Since Karan is the producer of the film and Chichi was never a good friend of him, the actor thinks it’s a deliberate attempt to ruin his career.

This is not the only reason why  Govinda is upset with Karan. It is also being said that he wanted to promote his film on Koffee With Karan like other stars, but that didn’t happen.

Though Karan apologised to him publically for the same and said that it would have been an absolute honour and privilege to have Govinda on the show, but somehow it didn’t happen and he also feels bad about it. Karan also said that he has no intention to hurt him and would love to call Govinda and invite him on the show soon.

But in an interview with Pinkvilla, when the actor was asked about his appearance on Koffee with Karan and the filmmaker’s statement, he said:

He must have said that it would be a matter of national respect for him if he calls Govinda, but he is releasing Varun’s (Dhawan) film just a week after my film. He shows that he’s very humble and innocent, but woh mujhe David (Dhawan) se zyaada jealous and zyaada khatarnak lagta hai.

Govinda further added:

He has never called me in 30 years, he doesn’t see actors who are not the part of his group and doesn’t even say a hello, I doubt. He’s not that kindhearted. It’s a well-planned and smart move by Karan that he’s releasing his film a week after mine. Mujhe woh kabhi seedha nahi lagta hai.

Here’s wishing Govinda all the best for his film and we are really not sure how Karan is going to react to his statements.
