Arbaaz Khan to bring Salman Khan's Dabangg 3 in 2018. Is it the next big Eid release after Tubelight?

Arbaaz Khan talked about Dabangg 3 at an event. He had already confirmed that Sonakshi Sinha will be paired opposite Salman Khan in the film.

All the Salman Khan fans, lend us your ears. Your favourite star will return as badass cop Chulbul Pandey in the third installment of Dabangg on Eid in 2018. Don’t believe it? Recently, Dabangg 2 director Arbaaz Khan while talking to the reporters spilled the beans about the proposed plans for the sequel. He said:

As far as the proposed plan of Dabangg 3 is concerned, it might go on floors by the end of next year. We will begin shooting only after Bhai(Salman)’s other commitments are finished. If not, we will begin filming in early 2018. We will definitely have the film released in 2018.

As far as the star cast is concerned, Arbaaz in an exclusive interview to TOI in July had confirmed that Sonakshi Sinha will share screen space with Salman for the second sequel of the film as well. The previous two installments of the film hit the theatres in 2010 and 2012, turning out to be the blockbusters. While the first film was directed by Abhinav Kashyap, Dabangg 2 was helmed by Arbaaz Khan.

As of now, Salman is busy filming for Tubelight, a historical war drama set in the backdrop of 1962 Sino-Indian war. The film directed by Kabir Khan will have the superstar play an Indian soldier who falls in love with a Chinese girl, played by Zhu Zhu. Salman and Kabir have teamed up for the third time after having worked together in Ek Tha Tiger and Bajrangi Bhaijaan.

Meanwhile, the work on the sequel of Ek Tha Tiger is also in progress.
