Speculation was rife that Aamir Khan will be seen playing India’s first astronaut Rakesh Sharma in his biopic. Now, the buzz is Aamir, who shared the screen space with Fatima Sana Shaikh in his film Dangal, is now all set to romance her in Rakesh Sharma’s biopic reportedly titled Saare Jahan Se Achcha. A source close to the actor stated that Aamir is keen to cast his Dangal co-star Fatima in the film.

“Fatima has been finalized for Saare Jahan Se Achcha and she will essay the role of Aamir’s wife in the film. Aamir has asked Fatima to grow her hair back after Thugs and she will start prepping for her role soon after she completes the YRF film,” a source close to the actress was quoted as saying.

After playing Fatima’s on-screen father in Nitesh Tiwari directorial, it will be interesting to watch Aamir romancing her in the upcoming biopic.

After Dangal, Fatima will next be seen in Aamir Khan’s upcoming film Thugs Of Hindostan. Earlier it is being reported that Aamir has recommended Fatima for the film, however, reports clarified that it was not Aamir but a slimmer pay cheque that earned Fatima this movie.

Meanwhile, recently Amitabh Bachchan has landed in South European country Malta to join the shoot of Vijay Krishna Acharya’s Thugs of Hindostan. This is the first time Big B and Aamir will be seen sharing the screen space together.

Thugs of Hindostan will release during Diwali 2018.

On the work front, Aamir Khan was last seen in Dangal which was based on the real-life struggles of wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat. The film garnered huge success at the Indian Box Office. It has also taken the Chinese Box Office by storm by crossing Rs 1,000 crore mark.
