For the first time, Anushka will play the role of a ghost on-screen. She will be playing the role of a friendly ghost Shashi in the film. Also, it is the first time that we will get to see her romance Diljit Dosanjh.
Recently, a new song from the film was released and after giving us the first Sufi song Dum Dum of this year, the makers gave us the first wedding song of this season, titled Whats Up. And not just the trailer, but the songs are also being highly appreciated by the audience and the B-Town celebs.
Now, the makers have come up with a new and interesting marketing strategy just like the film’s story, to promote Phillauri. According to this new and innovative plan, a dedicated Whatsapp number (9867473178) has been registered in the name of film’s character Shashi and Anushka Sharma will video chat with her fans through this number.

Named Whatsapp With Shashi, this initiative is a great idea to reach the maximum number of people. But, the catch is that Anushka will video chat as Shashi, who is a ghost and thus will remain invisible to the person on the other side of the call.
