Anushka Sharma talks about women misogyny on International Women's Day

Anushka Sharma wrote a long note on her Instagram account where she urged women to focus on the most important aspect

On the occasion of International Women’s Day, the celebs have decided to pour their feelings out. From Kriti Sanon, Virat Kohli to Anushka Sharma, everyone has celebrated the occasion in their own way. Recently, the Phillauri actress Anushka had a strong viewpoint to put across regarding female misogyny. The actress went on to talk about the women issue in details.

Anushka wrote a heartwarming note on her Instagram account. It read, ” On this women’s day I’d like to urge all women to respect and love each other. Strong women pull each other up and not bring each other down. You know the struggle, you face the struggle so make this easier for someone else as much as you can.”

She also wrote, “Before naming calling and judging another woman, think of the many battles she fought that you know nothing about. Female misogyny is as bad if not more. ‘I have had it so bad so why should her life be easy!’ is the worst thing you can do. Women having the sensibility give birth to men who then go on to disrespect and repress women. It’s a vicious circle that doesn’t end well for anyone. By respecting other women you are in fact standing up for yourself and your future in this world. Happy Women’s Day.”

Interestingly, Virat Kohli also gave away a very moving note on his Instagram account where he sweetly spoke about how Anushka is the second most important person to her after her mother. The ace cricketer wrote, “Happy women’s day to every woman out there, but especially to the two strongest women in my life. My mom (mother) for looking after the family in toughest times in life and Anushka Sharma for fighting against the odds regularly and standing up for righteousness and changing the norms.”

Even Swara Bhaskar and Taapsee Pannu’s gripping video talked about how much cleavage is good cleavage.
