The exit polls for the Uttarakhand Assembly elections are out and according to the media reports, it’s the Bharatiya Janata Party who is supposed to form a government in the state. As per India Today-Axis My India exit poll, the BJP is set to wrest power in Uttarakhand, winning 46-53 seats in the 70-member assembly while the India News-MRC and ABP-Lokniti predicted 38 and 34-42 seats for BJP while 30 and 23-29 seats for Congress respectively.

Assembly elections in Uttarakhand ended peacefully on February 15 and the exit polls are out on March 9 at 5:30 pm.
