Pakistan to finally get a real Starbucks!

Starbucks will be opening an outlet in either Islamabad or Karachi.

For those in Pakistan yearning for a cup of Iced Caramel Macciato or munch Blueberry Muffin from Starbucks, here’s some really good news for sure. According to FHM Pakistan, the coffeehouse giant will open its outlet either in capital Islamabad or cosmopolitan Karachi.

What is more amusing that Starbucks will set its foot on Pakistani soil with ‘Ready Brew’ made of Pumpkin Spice Latte, fresh roasted coffee beans, salted caramel Mocha and other ingredients. Starbucks boasts of around 23,768 coffee outlets across the world, with a major presence in India as well.

However, the coffee giant has a competition. Wondering who will challenge the might of Starbucks? The rival bears striking resemblance to it in terms of logo as well as the name-Sattar Buksh. The coffee house chain has become a favourite hangout place for Karachiites. According to the outlet’s official website, Sattar Buksh is that man on the street full of worldly inputs.

Recently, Sattar Buksh cafe was in news for its new menu, LOC pizza, prepared around heightened tensions with India. This pizza is half vegetarian and also comprises beef. The restaurant also has other delicacies with funny names, say Jheenga La-La and Topless Besharam Burger.
