As Parbat Makwana described, he passed out from schools 55-years back. But now, he is back to appear for exams once again. “Though my mother is illiterate but the knowledge she has is incomparable and it could be more than a knowledgeable person,” said Parbat Makwana.
Parbat runs a students hostel in Junagarh and also serves as the vice-president of the district Congress party. He said that he loves studying Sanskrit. He said,”I manage to spare two hours to study and do not take any coaching or tuition.”
Parbat’s presence has also fascinated the Gujrat board officials who have appreciated his move. Exam secretary BS Panchal said,”Parbat Makwana’s decision to appear for board exams sets a massive example for others that age doesn’t matter when learning is concerned. The person should be willing to take up the challenges. The youngsters who have left their studies half way could learn from him.”
